This fall, the doll from LOST DAUGHTER speaks, in a new children’s book by #ElenaFerrante called THE BEACH AT NIGHT. pic.twitter.com/xZSxJdLzfx

My colleague Rose, who famously hates almost everything EXCEPT the Neapolitan novels, reports “the enigma that is author Elena Ferrante strikes again! Following her acclaimed (lauded, obsessed-over) Neapolitan series, Ferrante’s publisher announced on twitter that she’d be writing a children’s book. The main character appears to be a doll that first appeared in her (grown-up) novel, The Lost Daughter.”
Well, it’s not April 1st yet, so what do you think, could this be real?
